Founded in 2007 by Dr. Giselle Lazaro-Maceda, NU.U Asia began as a premier skin health and aesthetics clinic in Bonifacio Global City. We have since developed into a leading wellness center throughout the years, providing a comprehensive approach to health, beauty, and overall wellness. After initially focusing just on skin and aesthetics, we expanded our range of services by including treatments that promote both physical and mental wellness.

Now located on the 4th floor of One Bonifacio Ayala Malls, NU.U Asia offers a modern, relaxing space where clients can experience the highest standard of care. Despite our growth, we remain a single-location establishment, focusing on personalized and high-quality service for every client. With a team of board-certified doctors, we pride ourselves on fusing our medical expertise with the latest advancements in beauty and wellness. Peachy Paz Lao, MD, FPDS, IFAAD, FAADV

Dermatologist

Dr. Peachy Paz Lao is an active consultant at the Department of Dermatology in Makati Medical Center. She previously served as President of the Philippine Dermatological Society from 2019-2020, as the chairman of the Department of Dermatology in Makati Medical Center from 2008-2018, and as the head of the Laser Center in Makati Medical Center from 2011-2018. She is an international fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a fellow of the Asian Association of Dermatology and Venereology, and a fellow of the Philippine Academy of Dermatologic Surgery Foundation Inc. She is a member of the International Society of Dermatology and Asian Dermatology Association. She is also a key opinion leader of several Pharmaceutical and Laser companies.

Lucia Lourdes C. Fores, MD, FPDS, IFAAD

Dermatologist

Dr. Lucia O. Castro-Forés is a graduate of the College of Science as well as the College of Medicine and Surgery of the Pontifical University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. She proceeded to complete her internship and dermatology residency training program at the prestigious Makati Medical Center in Makati City, Philippines. After obtaining her dermatology diplomate board, she continued to pursue her interests in her field of specialty, by enhancing her skills and knowledge in procedural dermatology, dermatological laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology at several training institutions in North America and Asia.She is a fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society and the International Society of Dermatology; and currently the chairperson of the dermatology residency training program residents selection committee of the Department of Dermatology at Makati Medical Center, where she maintains an active consultant staff member status and conducts her dally academic, clinical and cosmetic practice.

Marian Caridad Soledad R. Macapagal, MD, DPDS

Dermatologist

Dr. Marian Macapagal obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from University of Santo Tomas and holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. She completed her dermatology residency training at Makati Medical Center. She is currently an active consultant dermatologist at several centers and is a member of the Philippine Dermatological Society.

Margarita Isabel C. Tanchiong, MD, FPDS

Dermatologist

Dr. Margarita Carlos-Tanchiong obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University and holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Santo Tomas, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. She completed her Dermatology residency training at Makati Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. She went on to complete a Fellowship in General Dermatology in Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, New York, USA and is currently an active consultant in Makati Medical Center. She is also a fellow of the Philippine Academy of Dermatologic Surgery Foundation Inc.

Dana Esperanza S. Pancho, MD, DPDS

Dr. Dana Esperanza Pancho obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of the Philippines-Diliman and earned her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. She completed her dermatology training at Makati Medical Center, where she held the position of chief resident.

Maria Bettina Teresa Pascual, MD, DPDS

Dermatologist / Hair Transplant

Dr. Bettina Pascual holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. She completed her dermatology training at Makati Medical Center, and further specialized with an International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery fellowship training with Dr. Damkerng Pathomvanich at DHT Clinic, Bangkok.

Emmanuel L. Lopez de Leon, MD, FPAPRAS, FPCS

Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Emmanuel L. Lopez de Leon is a board-certified plastic surgeon with expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of the Philippines Diliman before pursuing his medical degree at the University of the Philippines Manila. Dr. Lopez de Leon then completed his plastic surgery residency at UP-Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH). He also pursued a fellowship training at Macquarie University Hospital.

Antonio C. Sison, MD, FPPA, FPDS

Dermatologist-Psychiatrist

Antonio C. Sison MD is the first and only board-certified Psychiatrist and simultaneously a board-certified Dermatologist in the Philippines. The reason for this dual residency is his interest in the pursing the field of Psychodermatology. His Clinical Framework is Trauma and how these impacts on patients with psychological and dermatological conditions. He is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Master Certification in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP). He is a Retired Associate Professor of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of the Philippines- Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH). He is a consultant at the Skin and Cancer Foundation Incorporated (SCFI). Past President of the Philippine Psychiatric Association (PPA) for 2022-2023, and presently Treasurer of the Philippine Dermatological Society (2023-2024) and Chair of the Psychodermatology Interest Group of the Philippine Dermatological Society.

Regine Anne L. Oscuro, MD, MBA

Psychiatrist

Dr. Regine Anne L. Oscuro-Perez received her Degree in Doctor of Medicine and Masters in Business Administration from the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health and passed the Physician's Licensure Exam in 2017. In 2018, she entered UP-Philippine General Hospital - Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine where she completed her residency training on General & Adult Psychiatry in 2021 and underwent further sub-specialty training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in the same institution in 2023.

Angelynn Sianghio-Lapada, MD, DPOGS

Dr. Angel Sianghio is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for women at every stage of life. She earned her medical degree from FEU-NRMF and completed her residency at San Juan de Dios Hospital, gaining extensive experience in obstetrics and gynecologic health. Currently, she serves as a consultant at ACE Medical Center and a visiting consultant at Malvar General Hospital and Floridablanca Doctors Hospital, among other affiliations. With a holistic approach to women’s health, Dr. Sianghio also specializes in aesthetic gynecology, helping patients explore options for intimate wellness with confidence. At NU U Asia, she blends medical expertise with a patient-centered philosophy, creating a safe and empowering space for women’s overall well-being.
